July offers us an opportunity to slow the pace, quiet the noise, and make room for the restoring presence of God. Instead of our challenge with the heat of summer or our constant focus on vacation - stay-cation wishes, the heat almost demands that we find shade and perhaps quiet stillness even for the those who love to move and go. With Juneteenth and 4th of July as reminders of freedom, let yourself experience the freedom of calm, cool, and self-appreciation whenever you can get it! Here's to a gentle July, and a season of summer surrender to rest whenever possible.
Breathe—release the pressure to carry everything at once.
Rest—trust that God is still working, even when we pause.
Receive—welcome the peace, strength, wisdom, and renewal He desires to give.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
